Before they partnered up, Alejandra was designing for Rojas and styling for celebrities; Rana was a buyer and owner of another retail store. The partners wanted to take shop in an environment where stylists, designers, buyers and shoppers merge. They both agreed Virgo should offer alternative merchandise-one that complimented the growing demographic of downtown Los Angeles.
Virgo differs from the commercial franchises that neighbor them. They offer a wide-range of one-of-a-kind women’s and men’s apparel, both new and re-constructed vintage that translates their definitive fashion sense. Alejandra and Rana guarantee of the moment styles, forecasting the latest trends, combining street chic with high-end. In an effort to be all inclusive, Virgo’s price points are fit for the average consumer. Their unique pieces are affordable, yet fashion forward. In this economy, consumers are looking for key pieces that can be worn from season to season and Virgo offers just that.
Alejandra and Rana are also the brainchildren behind Boos & Besito accessories line. With a fresh perspective on fashion, B&B team quickly lauded a devoted following. Alejandra and Rana integrated their cultural and ethnic backgrounds into their line. Blending the romantic language of Farsi and Spanish, the duo properly greets you with a pair of kisses and charming goodies sweet enough to doll up any outfit.
B&B offers a colorful spin on fashion by utilizing dead stock vintage fabric to create eye-catching pieces that range from tartan bootie socks to leather bow-tie necklaces. Their most popular item-to-date has been the in-famous shoe bloom, sassy strap-on corsages that come in a variety of color-ways and patterns. B&B’s unconventional pieces have been featured on Mun2 and by the likes of celebrities such as Rihanna, M.I.A., and Ryerye. Their collection of loveable and kitschy accessories will also be sold at Virgo.

The symbiosis between Alejandra and Rana is quite remarkable; their design palettes are in sync and even their fascination of astrology, music and art is weaved into Virgo designs.
