Lovemade for Han Cholo!!
Lovemade debuts jewelry collaboration with Han Cholo
LOS ANGELES, California (June 2009) – Linda Nguyen, the co-founding and design division of Lovemade has joined forces with Han Cholo’s long established jewelry guru Brandon Schoolhouse to create their first limited edition accessories line.
The Lovemade for Han Cholo collaboration debuts with a snake shape earpiece, originally crafted to be worn behind the ear. The piece creates a new category of jewelry, an innovative departure from a standard earring. For this piece, no ear piercing is required.
Resting on the fold of the adorner’s ear, the cuff drapes multiple staggered length chains that cascades along the neckline. The chain tips are adorned with an arrangement of heart inspired designs and Lovemade and Han Cholo’s signature charms.
This original earpiece will initially be available in a variety of colors including rose gold, gunmetal black and classic gold and silver colors.
For specialty boutiques, stylists and personal clients interested in a one-of-a-kind version made in 14 carat or sterling silver, Lovemade for Han Cholo will customize the style including the type, number and color of chains and charms in collaboration with the client.
Han Cholo’s bold jewelry is inspired by rock n’ roll, science fiction, fantasy art and hip hop culture has been worn by countless celebrities including Gwen Stefani, Jane’s Addiction, Snoop Dogg and Nas just to name a few.
Lovemade notoriety is born from 10 years of savvy and stylish events that have seamlessly melded music and fashion. Working with top brands and art such as Puma, Diesel, Reebok, and Adidas, Linda Nguyen (aka Linda Lovemade’s) background includes working for recording artist Lauryn Hill and designing apparel collections for brands like Obey, Burton, and L-R-G.
“Han Cholo would be the perfect fit because it formed a collaboration with a genre that stands apart from ours and enables us to design a bold and original piece for females ” says Nguyen (LoveMade).
Nguyen and Schoolhouse met through their overlapping social circles and their shared sensibility for dabbling in different arenas of fashion and music. Together, the Lovemade for Han Cholo jewelry collaboration is the first in a number of accessory and lifestyle products that Lovemade plans to roll out within the next year.
Lovemade for Han Cholo jewelry launches next month.
